The Longer I Played, the Less the Game Felt About Other Players
When most people describe agario, they talk about competition.
They talk about chasing smaller cells, avoiding larger ones, climbing the leaderboard, and surviving longer than everyone else. Those things are certainly part of the experience, but after years of playing agario on and off, I've started to think the game is actually about something else.
Oddly enough, I think agario is one of the few multiplayer games where the biggest challenge isn't other players.
It's yourself.
Your patience.
Your discipline.
Your greed.
Your confidence.
The map is full of opponents, but the decisions that matter most usually happen inside your own head.
That's one of the reasons the game has stayed with me for so long.
