For the longest time, I thought I knew exactly what kind of games I liked.
Games with goals.
Games with progress.
Games where you feel like you’re moving toward something.
So when I first played a silly 3D game about sheep running around and failing spectacularly, I assumed it would be a short-term thing. A laugh, a few minutes of fun, and then I’d move on like I always do.
Except… I didn’t.
Somehow, Crazy Cattle 3D kept pulling me back in. And after playing it on and off for a while, I finally understood why.
The Game Doesn’t Care If You’re “Good” at It
This might sound strange, but one of the best things about this game is that it doesn’t care how skilled you are.
You don’t feel rewarded for being perfect.
You don’t feel punished for being bad.
You’re just… playing.
In many games, there’s an unspoken pressure to improve, to optimize, to get better every session. Here, improvement happens naturally, but it’s never demanded.
You can mess up constantly and still have a good time. That alone already puts this game in a special category for me.
